Unique Volkswagen Concepts on Display at SoWo

At Executive Volkswagen of North Haven, we know that our cars have some passionate fans. They don’t just pay attention to the typical Volkswagen models. They want to see incredible custom vehicles that really set themselves apart. That’s why there’s events like SoWo: The European Experience. The Volkswagen brand recently showed off some interesting concepts that should impress auto enthusiasts of all kinds at this gathering in Georgia.

SUVs are hot right now, so a custom model based on the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas had to make an appearance. The Volkswagen Atlas Tanner Foust SEMA Concept was customized by a former rallycross driver, with massive off-road tires, new lights, and massive fender flares. This SUV is ready for any terrain. The 2018 Volkswagen Golf R Abstract Concept also made an appearance. It sits lower than the typical model and comes equipped with a new exhaust system and a carbon fiber steering wheel.

Of course, some customized sedans were also on display at SoWo. The 2019 Volkswagen Jetta has been redesigned for a new model year, and the R-Line SoCal edition offers a few exterior touches that set it apart. The white paint scheme has some stripes that should remind you of the second-generation Volkswagen Jetta, but what really stands out are the small touches of a shade called “tennis ball green” on the wheels, mirrors, and roof. The 2019 Volkswagen Arteon R-Line Highlight is also easy to spot, with a yellow-green paint job, new wheels, and a new suspension. It was great to see some of these custom vehicles, and we can’t wait to see what else the Volkswagen brand will come up with.
